Jason Nguyen Portrait

Jason is a PhD candidate in the history of architecture at Harvard University and the Kress Institutional Fellow at the Institut national d’histoire de l’art in Paris. His dissertation considers the various connections of craft and expertise with late 17th- and early 18th -century Parisian building practices. He has taught numerous courses on the history of art and architecture from the Renaissance to the present. Before relocating to Paris, he also worked in the curatorial department at the Harvard Art Museums, where he conducted research on European and American painting, sculpture, and decorative arts from the 16th to 19th centuries.
