



After a preparatory course in Humanities for her BA and two MAs (University of Cape Town and University of Westminster), Laure specialised in 19th century painting and museum display, with a keen interest in gender studies and pop culture. She now combines her professional activities with part-time teaching at Université Paris-Nanterre, while pursuing her PhD research on Pre-Raphaelite muse, artist and poet Elizabeth Siddal (1829 – 1862).
