There’s no place like Paris for discovery photography, old and new. The city is a hub for creating, exhibiting and thinking about the photographic arts. Photography’s 19th-century pioneers started here, after all. Looking to learn more about how to collect your own photographs? We’ll take you on an introductory virtual tour of who’s selling what and when. Start honing your collector’s eye, to find photographs that bring you both joy and meaning. It’s another way to connect personally with the history and culture of France.

You will:

  • Learn how to identify photographs you like and where to discover them in Paris.
  • Find out how photography is priced in France, and what to look for when purchasing editions.
  • Hear more about the historical relationship between Paris and photography.
