Take a virtual trip to the south of France to see how one family lives in a château (castle) on a working vineyard. How do kids 6-12 in the countryside of France spend their free time? What do they do for fun? What do they eat? Your family will join in on a typical day, hosted by a teacher and mother of two young children. The stunning nature of Provence—its lavender, vines, sunflower, olive trees—will be the scenic backdrop for this personalized visit. Along the way, you’ll learn about French words unique to the region, typical outdoor games and customs, and traditional family recipes that all Provençal families know.  Activate your imagination with a virtual escape to the south for an unforgettable family-friendly adventure!

Your kids will:

  • Hear a classic children’s song that originates in Provence but that all French children know
  • Learn a fun recipe from a French Papi (French grandfather) that your family can recreate at home
  • Explore differences and similarities between your lives and those of Provençal children

Parents will receive additional materials like recipes and online French resources to continue your family’s learning.
