"As the first in my family to travel beyond the U.S., it’s thrilling to share Paris with people who are experiencing it for the first time. It’s a gift, really, because seeing their joy rekindles mine. It’s the same feeling I had when I decided to move across the world to pursue a creative path.
I was originally inspired to learn more about perfume because of the powerful memories it evokes for me. A fragrance can transport you. My perfume tours are tailor-made to the individual. I get to know each person in order to understand their tastes and preferences. Even though I’m the guide, we're enjoying process of learning and discovery together.
My favorite place in Paris for a relaxing tea-time while browsing English language books is the Smith & Son Café.
Originally from the mountains of Colorado, Madeline earned her BA from the University of Northern Colorado. She spent a semester abroad in Florence and was so inspired by European culture she moved to France in 2020. She then earned an MBA in Art and Luxury Brand Management from the Institut d'études supérieures des arts in Paris, where she wrote her dissertation on the international niche perfume market. When not leading tours for Paris Muse, she enjoys exploring new perfume collections, going to the flower market, sewing quilts, or basking in the sun.
