Caroline Bokobza
"My grandmother was a collector, and she shared her love of art with me. Starting from when I was young, we explored museums and auction houses together. As a guide, I try to share that lifelong passion with my visitors. Art can be beautiful, but there is always more than meets the eye. Objects also give us the keys to understanding people and the connections between the past and the present. When we explore the historical and political contexts of an art object or monument in front of us, that’s when new questions and meaningful conversations can happen."
My favorite place to wander is the village of Montmartre. I love its authentic Parisian streets, and the stunning view from the Sacré-Coeur Basilica.
