Orane Mazelier
"Ever since I can remember, I’ve always been eager to learn new things. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in tourism, I started traveling the world. That experience helped me to understand and appreciate people of all places and profiles. After returning to France, I immediately started working in educational tourism, teaching teenagers and students the history and culture of France and other European countries. Working with teenagers is especially rewarding because it allows me to take my stories to another level, to make art accessible and fun. I’m lucky to live in Paris, where art and history is given such a prominent role. It’s a privilege to walk among so many treasures everyday and share my passion for them."
My favorite place for a leisurely stroll, rain or shine, is the covered passageways Passage des Panoramas and the nearby Passage Jouffroy.
Orane was born and raised in France's chateau-dotted Loire valley. After earning her BA in tourism, she moved to the US and split her time between the West and the East coast. Since returning to France, she has worked as a tour director for educational tour companies, sharing her passion for French culture and history with American students and adults.
