Tour Description
Adventure is everywhere in Paris, if you know where to look. It’s your Time to Explore Paris with captivating stories about a cast of characters from history who shine in the City of Light.
You and your family’s private guide will start in the historic Marais district, home to the city’s most beautiful square, Place des Vosges. From there, we explore quiet cobble-stoned streets and dreamy bridges over the Seine, stopping at medieval walls and a magnificently restored 17th-century townhouse. Our tour will conclude near the cathedral Notre Dame de Paris.
Along the way, kids solve fun riddles in a take-home activity book, Hats Off to Paris, designed to give them a sense of ownership over what they are learning. These unique activities were developed with children ages 6-12 in mind, but your guide will be able to adjust according to the age and interests of your family.
We know how precious family vacation is. Give yourself time to focus on the contagious enthusiasm of your kids. They will likely be having too much fun on this tour—searching for traces of cannon balls or mason marks on a medieval rampart— to realize how much history you are absorbing together.

One of the best investments of our trip
For a family of modest means, the cost of this tour was nearly prohibitive, but like so many Paris Muse customers, we heartily agree it was one of the best investments of our trip. The Louvre is such a beautiful, expansive and overwhelming museum that it’s hard to imagine experiencing it any other way, especially with two children. We all got so much out of it.

Great Tour - Paris History on a Walk
My 6 year-old daughter and I took the "Time to Explore Paris'' tour with Kelly as our guide. This two-hour tour was fascinating and helped us see the city in a whole new way as we walked from Place de Vosges to Notre Dame. Kelly was able to keep my daughter's attention and help her see Paris history through its streets, buildings, and architecture. You'd think a 6 y/o would get bored with this kind of thing, but she was enthralled and really enjoyed deciphering the clues in the book Paris Muse provided. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants something a little different than the super-touristy spots in Paris.
